Muttaqi meets Iranian envoy Qomi

The Iranian ambassador and special representative to Afghanistan, Hassan Kazemi Qomi, in a meeting with acting foreign minister Amir Khan Muttaqi, discussed solving the problems of Afghan refugees and an increase in imported electricity supply for the country.
Hafiz Zia Ahmad Takal, the deputy spokesperson for the foreign ministry said on X that the two sides also discussed bilateral relations, trade, transit and recent political developments in the region.
Takal also stated that Muttaqi discussed developments related to Chabahar port, and the water supply to Nimruz and Sistan following recent rains.
