NDS arrested gang of armed kidnappers in Herat

NDS – Afghanistan’s Intelligence Agency arrested a group of five armed kidnappers in western Herat province of Afghanistan, NDS statement released on Wednesday announced.
During a special operations NDS members arrested a group of five armed thieves and kidnappers in Herat city when they were planning to abduct a doctor in the city, the statement said.
One AK47, 4 pistols, 5 radios, one GPS, and ten military uniforms and a Toyota vehicle were also seized from the kidnappers, the statement added.
According to the statement NDS members have also arrested a member of Taliban fighters who was injured in Qades district fight with Afghan security forces and was going to Pakistan for treatment.
