NDS Arrests IS Terrorists Involved in Kabul Mosque Attack

Two terrorists of Islamic State or Daesh  who were involved in a Shiite mosque deadly attack in Qala-e-Najara neighborhood of Kabul City were arrested today by Afghan intelligence forces, said sources in the government.

The source who spoke on condition of anonymity further said that the arrested individuals were in charge of recruitment and plotting attacks for the Islamic State or Daesh terror group.

Suicide attackers affiliated with Islamic State attacked Imam Zaman mosque in September 2017 killing as many as 20 civilians and wounding more than 30 others.

Hundreds have been killed and many others wounded since the so called Islamic State or Daesh militants have carried out deadly attacks in different Shiite holy sites, mainly in Kabul, the Capital City of the country.

Afghanistan’s intelligence agency or the National Directorate of Security has recently arrested a record number of Islamic State terrorists from across the country.
