The National Directorate of Security (NDS) chief says to introduce the main perpetrators of Kabul hospital attack up to the next two weeks.

NDS chief, Masoum Istanikzai calls the differences in opinions of the government and tribal circles the main reason that terrorists find influence in security forces.

“Two more weeks needed for introducing the main perpetrators and brought them to justice,” Istanikzai said.

The defense minister in relation to the Kabul hospital attack said that he was completely unaware of the incident and emphasized that providing the security of the hospital is not his responsibility that he should resign.

“How should I know who organized this incident, this is a professional issue. How the terrorist attack on hospital relates to my resign that I should resign,” said Abdullah Habibi, defense minister.

The Afghan legislature summoned Defense Minister Abdullah Habibi, Interior Minister Taj Mohammad Jahid and Masson Stanekzai, head of the National Directorate for Security over their failure to tackle mounting insecurity and the Taliban insurgency in the country in recent months.

Finally, the ministers of interior and defense, along with the head of the country’s security service, have survived a vote of no-confidence in parliament.
