NDS Disrupts Kabul Terror Plot by Haqqani Network

National Directorate of Security – Afghanistan’s Intelligence Agency have arrested five members of Haqqani terrorist network who were plotting to perform suicide and offensive attacks in Kabul.
NDS members killed four members of a terrorist group belong to Haqqani network and arrested another five after an armed fight in Logar province of Afghanistan, a statement released by NDS on Saturday said.
According to the statement three suicide attackers with two facilitators were arrested and a large number of weapons and ammunitions were seized.
The detained terrorists have confessed that they were trained with military services to perform suicide attacks for a period of one month in Farooqya religious school in Miramshah, a town in the North Waziristan in Pakistan.
Then, they were send to eastern Logar province of Afghanistan and had a plan to perform suicide attacks in crowded areas in Kabul city.
