NDS Prevents Coordinated Suicide Attack In Laghman
The National Directorate of Security (NDS) on Monday said in a statement that a group of three terrorists belonging to Taliban were arrested before they could manage to carry out the attack in Mehtarlam city of Laghman province.
The statement added that the group was planning to perform the attack by initially detonating an explosives packed rickshaw and a magnetic bomb.
The individuals have been identified as Bilal, Zekrullah, and Ferows.
The detained militants have confessed that they were assigned by commander Qader who is an organizer of Taliban’s suicide attacks to carry out the attack in Mehtarlam Baba city, the statement further continued.
Taliban has not made a comment about the report yet.
