NDS seized large cache of weapons, ammunitions in Parwan
The National Directorate of Security (NDS) – The Afghan spy agency has discovered a large cache of weapons and ammunition in northern Parwan province of Afghanistan.
On Sunday, the Afghan intelligence agency released a video footage of different rifles, and pistols included 118 various types of weapons and 20,200 rounds of ammunitions.
“The terrorists planned to perform coordinated terror attacks in Parwan province, but fortunately the NDS members foiled their plan and seized their cache in Talangur village of Jabul Saraj district in Parwan province,” NDS statement said.
Discovery of these weapons and ammunitions prevented another deadly and bloodiest attack in the province, the statement further read.
Parwan is among the insecure provinces because of the existence of a large number of smugglers, warlords and criminal gangs where they are keeping and using weapons and ammunitions abundantly.
