Negotiations Will Begin to Gain Supports on Fighting Terrorism with US Gov’t: MoFA

Officials in the Afghan Ministry of Foreign Affairs have urged that negotiations will be underway to gain more supports and military equipment on fighting terrorism in Afghanistan with US President elect- Donald Trump.

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Hekmat Khalil Karzai said, “We will begin talks and negotiations with newly US Government run by the US elect President Donald Trump incoming week to gain more supports and military equipment on fighting terrorism in Afghanistan.”

During visit with Deputy State department of US, Afghanistan President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani insisted over serious fight against terrorism in the region.

The US State Department under Secretary for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs Thomas A. Shannon, Jr. said, “ The strategic importance of this relationship is evident to all, but the tremendous possibility and opportunity that exists as we look in the future will become apparent and how we engage in Afghanistan, and so I can assure you that our propose and intention here is enduring, its sustainable and its long term, the alliance that exists between the people of Afghanistan and United States and our two Governments is an important one and enduring one I thank you for that, We share important bands of friendship and together we are gonna find ways to improve the lifes of all of our citizens.”

Afghanistan will have big exam incoming new year, hopes are underway to have the US supports to fight terrorism in the country.
