Afghanistan executive office once again emphasized that no election will be held before reforming the electoral system.

First deputy of the executive officer, Muhammad Khan considers delay in elections better than having elections full of fraud and irregularities.

“first the electoral system should be reformed, then we go to a transparent election,” Muhammad Khan said.

Afghan people are said to believe the three elections held after the Taliban regime in Afghanistan have been controversial and have followed the involvement of foreigners.

But Afghan election analysts warned that if the special electoral reforms commission does not start its work in earnest, the current system will face Legitimacy crisis.

According to them, the final decision is up to the leaders of national unity government. The House of Representatives has no legitimacy less than the upcoming three months and legitimacy crisis is threatening Afghanistan.

The Elecoral Reforms Commission, which was one of the agreements made between the national unity government leaders formed 20 days ago in an issue decreed by President Ghani.

At the other side, the members of electoral reforms commission claimed that reforming the electoral system will be far from expectation if they are not authorized.
