No Market Decreases Exportation of Fresh Fruits to Abroad:Rashid

Officials in Ministry of Agriculture and live stock have said,” due to low possibilities the exportation of fresh fruits from Afghanistan to abroad has been decreased, stating the cultivation and production of fresh fruits in Afghanistan comparing to last year has significantly increased, but there is no suitable plat form for exporting the goods to abroad.”

Officials in Ministry of Agriculture and live stock have also mentioned that the below provinces fresh fruits cultivations increased significantly in Nimroz, Herat, Farah the following fruits are being sent to Pakistan markets with low amount of money.

Further the officials explained that Afghanistan’s fresh fruits are being sent to European countries after processing being made by the Pakistani factories.

Ministry of Agricutlure and Live stocks Lufullah Rashid said,” increasing of cultivation of fresh fruits has caused the prices of fruits to come down, and doesn’t get exported to abroad.”

The Ministry of commerce and industry spokesman Musafir Qoqandi said,” Afghanistan exports only 1$ but instead it imports 25$ its needed that the balance in between exporting and importing to be maintained.”
