There will be no security and stability in Afghanistan as long as terrorism training centers are not completely eliminated from Pakistan’s soil, according to the interior ministry of Afghanistan.

In a press conference Monday in Kabul, MoI spokesman Sideeq Siddequi called on the international community, especially the United States to eliminate those Madrasas of Pakistan which provide militancy training.

“We have lost thousands of our security personnel and as well as our innocent citizens,” Siddequi said. “Regional countries and the international community need to show their commitment in this respect.”

Meanwhile, the MoI official confirmed missing of 17 police personnel in Wardooj district of northeastern Badakhshan.

This comes as 17 policemen were abducted in a group attack of Taliban militants about two days ago in Wardoj. Nearly a dozen other police and militants were also killed in the ambush.
