None quality fuel consumes in Afghanistan: Faieq
Officials in department of norms and standards have stated that none quality fuel is being imported and consumed within the markets without paying taxation.
They have mentioned that none quality fuel is being imported by mafia through ports into Afghanistan without paying taxes, the fuel is not taken to the laboratory for examining of the quality.
Head of norms and standards department Naqibullah Faieq said,” none quality fuel is being imported with taxing, this should be resolved.”
Further head of the norms and standards Naqibullah Faieq mentioned that our main problem is to have capacity for supplying fuel and avoid importing of none quality fuel into the country.
Afghanistan is a consumer country of fuel, the Governmental officials have yet to be capable to prevent importing of none quality fuel into Afghanistan for the past several years,one of the major barriers which has prevented efforts to decrease the importing of none quality fuel has been corruption.
