The ousted governor of Balkh province, Atta Muhammad Noor has suspended a mass rally planned to stage in the capital Kabul on 28th February.

During a consultative meeting, Noor has declared that the plan of protest postponed due to the demands of international partners, the International Community and holding of Kabul process summit convention.

Noor warned to launch protest in another date, unless the government stops removing political figures and reaches to a positive result with the Jamiat party.

The powerful warlord has also criticized the lack of first vice-president Gen. Dostum’s presence in the country and called for his earlier return.

In the meantime, the spokesman of Hezb-e Junbish, Bashir Ahmad Tayanj stated that monopolization is forming in the country and the lack of Gen. Dostum is a vacuum in the current situation.

However, some others at the consultative meeting demanded formation of a temporary government and asked foreign countries not to interfere in Afghanistan’s affairs.

The participants at the meeting also called on the National Unity Government to fulfill its commitments and hold the upcoming parliamentary and presidential elections on its specific time.
