NUG delegation discuss major problems Afghan refugees face in Iran

The Chief Executive of Afghanistan Abdullah Abdullah, met Iranian Interior Minister, Abdul Reza Rahmani Fazli in Tehran on Tuesday and discussed Afghan refugees issues in Iran.

According to a statement released by Afghanistan’s CE Office, during the meeting, the two sides have emphasized over tightening relations between the two countries, legalizing the presence of Afghan immigrants, effective methods of combating drug trafficking and enhancing border relations between the two countries.

In an agreement between the two side, a joint session will be held today in Iran’s Ministry of Interior where the Afghan minister of Refugees and Repatriations will also take part to discuss and finalize refugees related issues with Iranian officials.

Afghan leader after visiting with Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of Iran, Hassan Rouhani, the President of Iran, and other Iranian officials assigned an Afghan delegation to specify the main problems of Afghans in Iran to be discussed with Iranian officials for resolutions.
