Senate House – Meshrano Jirga on Tuesday session declared that Afghan government has failed to observe meritocracy on the new elected candidates for ministerial positions.
Zalmay Zabuly, a member of the Senate said,” both leaders have divided the cabinet between political parties who are notorious, why they haven’t chosen qualified and cleared personalities who are living inside and outside Afghanistan?”.
Fazel Hadi Muslimyar, Speaker of the Senate House also called on MPs to vote only for qualified nominees.
“We ask the Lower House of Parliament – Wolesi Jirga to vote for nominees who are qualified, talented, experienced and can serve for the people of Afghanistan,” Muslimyar demanded.
Finally the National Unity Government leaders succeeded to announce the disputable cabinet members after a hundred and six days and soon they will be introduced to the Wolesi Jirga for approval.
