NUG leaders Not Agree on Selection of Governors: Senators

A number of the senators in upper house of the parliament have stated that National Unity Government leaders do not agree over selecting provincial Governors, saying considering the current insecurity condition selection of the Masum Stanikzai as the Afghan Acting Defense Minister not a good idea.

Criticizing the National Unity Government leaders do not have the required capabilities for picking up key figures in Governmental positions.

Senator Abdullah Qarloq said,” Defense Ministry is the key position there should be an expert military figures to run the job.”

The other senator Daud Ghafari said,” Masum Stanikzai has been Afghanistan peace council member now he was selected as the acting Defense Minister,I m sure insurgents never come behind the negotiation table.”

However head of the house Abdul Hadi Muslimyar said,” its President and CEO responsibility to select Ahmad or Mohamood as the Defense Minister.”

We do not have do prejudgment the Government has decided to do so said Nadir Baloch.

Masum Stanikzai has been introduced as the acting Defense Minister for the country by the President of Afghanistan, and he will have his presence to the lower house of the parliament to receive confidence votes in the near future.
