The first deputy of executive office, Muhammad Khan has said that from now on the National Unity Government (NUG) should represent from a united and a single team.

Muhammad Khan stated that Afghanistan single geography has one government and we all move toward one side.

“The Government of National Unity’s multiplicity should be avoided. Afghanistan nation and its leaders move consistent and well thought,” khan said.

He also stressed on preparing a list of drug smugglers that should be introduced to law and media outlets.

“Mafias are playing with the prestige of Afghan government and people, so mercy to them is injustice to people.” Khan noted.

Meanwhile, the chief of executive officer (CEO) Abdullah Abdullah while introducing the ministry of energy and water said that now is the time for reforming and changes.

“Reforms is a need for all sectors, these reforms should not remain and describe just on papers,” CEO said.

However, the cabinet of national unity government is still not completed but it should be seen that what a new start would do for the new government in a frustration atmosphere.

This comes as the NUG leaders are pointing at their commitments with the controversies of national unity government seemed to be ended.

Aiming to end an election dispute, Afghanistan’s presidential rivals Ashraf Ghani and Abdullah Abdullah signed a deal to form a national unity government on August 8.

Afghanistan’s presidential election was resolved by a U.S.-brokered deal that led, ultimately, to a power-sharing arrangement within the new national unity government.

This has set up tensions within the government—even as Afghanistan’s leaders face an uncertain political, economic, and security situation across the country, as international financial and military support draws down.

The formation of the new government, however, also presents opportunities for serious reforms of Afghanistan’s government, which could lead to greater peace and security if seized effectively.
