1 Policeman Killed, 4 Injured In Kandahar Suicide Attack

Provincial police spokesman Zia Durrani said a patrol of Afghan police was targeted at around 10:30 am by a suicide bomber who was driving a vehicle-laden with explosives.
He added, the attack left one policeman dead and three others wounded.
According to the source, Haji Farid the chief of police district 9 of Kandahar city has escaped unhurt from the explosion, but a medical official confirmed that the police chief is under treatment in the hospital due to wounds he has sustained.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.
