Operations to Eliminate Insurgents Should be intensified in Winter: MPs

Considering the high level of threats the chairman of the lower house of the parliament Abdul Rauf Ibrahimi called up on the Government to intensify the Safaq military operation for eliminating the insurgents in winter season, otherwise insurgents and other terrorist will appear stronger in upcoming spring.

He said, “Government should intensify the military operation called Safaq to eliminate insurgents in winter season, otherwise the insurgents and terrorist will appear stronger in upcoming spring season fighting against Afghan security forces.”

The lower house of the parliament invited the Minister of Defense, Interior, refugees and repatriation and borders and tribal to listen for what they did for the past one year of performances.

Minister of Defense Abdullah Habibi said, “There are 5 priority in hands where it focus on using the power, establish capacity, security measurements for highways, unique commanding of war and using of the above options to eliminate the terrorist.”

Deputy Minister of Interior on procurement sector Mohammad Hameed Tahmasi said, “Ministry of Interior affairs despite of other achievements have spent its common and development budgets more than 70 percent.”

“We have spent our allocated budgets more than 70 percent, more work were accomplished to resolve the issues of the returnees from neighboring countries.” Minister of refugee and repatriation Sayed Alemi Balkhi said.

Deputy Minister of Border and tribal Abdul Ghafor Liwal said, “ We have held session for more than 3000 tribal leaders in one year and more details and information were given about the Afghan Government and supporting of Afghan security forces to pass the information for their people to be support Afghan security forces and be cooperative with Government.”

Representatives in the house have insisted that Government to practice new plans and policy for removing of the existed challenges and problems, and ensure security for the people.
