Pakistan Army Chief, General Qamar Javid Bajwa and three other army chiefs from Central Asian countries have already arrived in Kabul to hold meetings and talks about security in the region, a source in the government said to Ariana News.

The meeting and talks are reportedly arranged to be hold in the Kabul international airport.

The Pakistan media previously reported citing from the country’s Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR) that General Bajwa arrived in Kabul today, February 13, to attend Chief of Defence Conference.

Earlier this month a high level Pakistani delegation led by the country’s foreign deputy minister, Tahmina Janjua, visited Kabul to restore the battered relations of Pakistan and Afghanistan.

The Pakistani delegation visit was also followed by an Afghan high level delegation visit from Islamabad led by the Deputy Foreign Minister, Hekmat Karzai, which ended without any expected result, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan.
