Peace Deal with Gov’t Would Fail If Sanctions Doesn’t Remove: Karim

The Hezbi Islami delegation has warned that if the sanctions over the leader of the party and its members don’t get removed, the current peace deal with the Government of Afghanistan would be challenged.

The Hezbi Ismali representative Amin Karim said,” the peace deal agreement will be signed by both President of Afghanistan and Gulbuddin Hekmatyar in less than 10 days, insisting that a joint committee would be working over the principle of the peace deal agreement and also over disbanding military section in Hezbi Islami.”

He also urged that main important precondition to see Gulbuddin Hekmatyar in the capital city would be removing of sanctions.

Mr. Mohammad Karim Amin also said,” removing of the sanctions is the main part for joining the leader with the Government of Afghanistan, if the sanctions continue then the peace deal would be challenged.”

Giving promise to Afghans the Hezbi Islami would apologize the Afghans for what they did to them in the past, and would also hands off from the violence.

Head of the Hezbi Islami delegation Mohammad Karim Amin said,” joint committee to begin working on the implementation process the peace deal and the following agreement would be signed by both President of Afghanistan and Gulbuddin Hekmatyar incoming week.”

Meanwhile scores of civil society activists expressed their concerns over peace deal delays.

Head of the Social Justice Movement Ahmad Zaki said,” Since the Government doesn’t have ability to implement the National Unity Government political agreement, how could it get the peace deal agreement implemented?

“ We are too concerns over the thousand armed men of the Hezbi Islami led by Hekmatyar, someone should avoid their entering into Kabul city member of the following movement Ahmad Shah Stanikzai said,”

Hezbi Islami which is led by Gulbuddin Hekmatyar has been fighting against Afghan Government since 40 years, and After Mujahidin victory in Kabul the following leader began to fight over gaining power with other Mujahidin parties which let Kabul city to be destroyed and thousands of its residents either were killed, injured escaped.

Based on the peace deal agreement the leader of Hezbi Islmai has been given impunity and they were also promised to see their prisoners released from the Afghanistan’s jails.
