Pedram: NUG leaders must step down for a new election

Abdul Latif Pedram, government’s political opposition leader criticized National Unity Government (NUG) leaders functions and says they should quit the political field for a new election.

Pedram notes that the current government is not accountable to the people; citing Afghanistan system should be change to a federal system.

He warned that if President Ashraf Ghani and Cheif of Executive Officer, Abdullah Abdullah do not step down, they would force government leaders to resign with civil protests.

Presidential Palace declined to comment regarding the issue.

Members of government’s opposition party claimed that President and CEO monopoly the key positions of the government and do not provide employment fields for many youths who are qualified to work in government institutions.
