Powerful figures seize 3 million acres of lands in entire country: Khan

Local officials and powerful figures have seized more than 3 million acres of lands at the entire country.

First deputy of CEO Eng. Mohammad Khan has stated that though the National Unity Government has pushed efforts through to retake the seized lands, I think it really needs serious measurements to be adopted to retake all the lands grabbed by the local officials and powerful figures across the country.

Grabbing lands either its Governmental or none Governmental one has turned into a serious challenge for the Nation and Government.

First deputy of CEO Eng. Mohammad Khan said,” the one year old information indicated that 3 million acres of lands are still seized, as the exact number is over this, the following lands has been grabbed by the local powerful and Governmental officials in the country.”

In order to retake all the grabbed Governmental and none Governmental lands serious efforts are needed to be underway to tackle this issue, no rapid actions is taken the number of seized lands will go higher than 3 million acres in Afghanistan Eng. Mohammad Khan added.

Despite of three decades of war in Afghanistan, illegal grabbing of lands has turned into a serious issue for the Government of Afghanistan, if significant measurements don’t be taken soon the Government will fail to retake those lands seized by the powerful and Governmental officials at entire country.

Grabbing of lands comes after that President Ghani and his Wife -CEO Abdullah Abdullah and his wife have registered their properties in high office of oversight and anti corruption.
