Pres. Ghani Introduces Three New Nominees for Ministerial Positions

Based on the President’s decree, Yama Yari was appointed as nominee-minister for Public Works, Shahzadgul Aryubi for Telecommunication and Mustafa Mastoor as nominee-minister for Ministry of Economy.
The nominees are expected to be introduced to Parliament to get vote of confidence.
It comes as the seats of cabinet of National Unity Government are currently filled by 11 acting ministers including ministries of Foreign Affairs, Defense, Mining, Education, Public Works, Higher Education, Communication, Information and Technology, Borders and Tribal, Labor and Social affairs and transport.
