President Ghani visits Kandahar to oversee security situation

President Ghani has travelled to southern Kandahar province on Tuesday morning.
He is scheduled to visit Kandahar 205th Corps, security officials, religious scholars, tribal leaders and civil society members to discuss the security situation in the province.
Earlier, he made a visit to the Western Herat province and during a session praised the Afghan National Army (ANA) and other security forces heroism in the fight against the insurgents.
Afghan president has a made a number of surprised visits to different provinces with chaotic situation since he has taken the office.
