President Spokesperson Rejects Peace Negation Processes Held in China

Recently Wall Street Journal (WSJ) has quoted an Afghan prominent peace envoy saying that Afghan lawmakers visited Taliban representatives in Ürümqi state of China to accelerate peace negotiations process in between Afghan Government and Taliban over ensuring peace into Afghanistan behind the curtain, an effort which was made last week.

The following push was accelerating regional efforts to bring the insurgency to the negotiating table.

Two-day meeting, which took place in northwestern Chinese city of Urumqi,was aimed at discussing preconditions for a possible peace process into Afghanistan.

Afghan expert on military affairs Jawid Khohistani said,” Peace talks has been continuing in china, in this week one other group of negotiators from Afghan Government side went to china to continue the peace negotiations, the act comes after joint Memorandum of Understanding in between Kabul-Islamabad is to be signed to exchange security information and jointly combating terrorism in both countries.”

Afghanistan high peace council spokesperson Shazadah Shahid said,” we are not on the page and not aware of peace negotiations goes on in China, this has not been in the Afghanistan High peace council as an agenda.”

Meanwhile president spokesperson Ajmal Ubaid Abidi said,” we strongly reject any peace a negotiation goes on in between Afghanistan representatives and Taliban in Ürümqi state of china, Afghan Nation will be informed as we begin peace negotiations with Taliban.”

After the establishment of the National Unity Government the peace talks process escalated by the close cooperation of Pakistan (ISI),but peace talks process gradually failed,the second deputy of the CEO Abdullah Abdullah has accused neighboring countries for flaming up the fire into Afghanistan.
