Private Sector Should Take Part in Growing Agriculture: Abdullah

Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah who visited the 17th Agriculture exhibition on Friday in Kabul where dozens type of Afghanistan products were exhibited, insisted that private sector should take part in growing the Agriculture industry in Afghanistan.

Further he has urged that if stable steps on growing Agriculture were taken in the past 10 years now we would not see our Agriculture in the low level.

Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah said,” We need to let the private sector to play role on having standard Agriculture industry in Afghanistan, Government is ready to support them, no significant activities has been done for growing Agriculture in the past.”

Meanwhile Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Lufullah Rashid said,” Farmers were invited from different part of the country and based on my estimation 67 thousand visitors have come to the exhibition, dozen contracts were signed between the farmers businessmen in 3 days.”

In 3 days of Agriculture exhibition held in Kabul city 233 wooden boots exhibited Afghanistan Agriculture products.
