Afghan Government retired employees have not received their annual benefits since about six months.

They have spent years serving the government and now hardly can succeed to get the maximum of 5,000 AFS to make a living.

Aziz Ullah who was a member of Afghan police is waiting to get his payment since early morning pointing to the NUG leaders, said: “if you can manage, please leave the office decently, whom we should complain, President Do you hear us?”

A number of these retired employees criticized the government saying in the past they used to receive their payments easily, but after the system is computerized getting the retirement benefit is problematic.

Sayed Anwar Shah who is a retired Colonel and hardly can pass the crowd, said: “It is very difficult to pass this door because of crowd; we are waiting here since a long time.”

They warn to use violent actions if the government fails to provide their retirement salary on time.

Officials in the Retirement & Compensations Directorate denied providing justifications about these issues and the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs yet to comment about this problem.
