Rift Between NUG Leaders Threatens National Interests: MPs
Chairman of the Wolesi Jirga Abdul Rauf Ibrahimi said, “The ongoing rift between National Unity Government provokes serious concerns, and isn’t acceptable for Afghan people, it will also damage the National interests, we will continue to have our stance against this issue and will.”
Meanwhile law makers at the house of the parliament have also insisted that the ongoing tension between the leaders has paved the way for corruption to be increased within the Ministries, in some cases even some of the chairs are being sold.
“Chairs are being sold in most Ministries, meritocracy is an empty word, corruption reached to its high level, this must be prevented,” Member of the parliament Simeen Barakzai said.
However Law maker Abdul Rahman Rahmani said, “We cast our votes to Ministers to avoid corruption, but in reverse corruption sparks, a decision should be taken about those Ministers.”
Based on the decision of the parliament the Ministers failed to carry out the duty should be summoned with no hesitation, in this way we can remove some of the existed challenges within the Ministries.
