Roadside Bomb Kills 6 Civilians in Ghazni

Six civilians from a single family were killed in an explosion in Afghanistan’s eastern province of Ghazni on Monday, officials said.

Provincial governor spokesman Javid Salangi told Ariana News a roadside bomb went off in Azad village, Gilan district of Ghazni province this morning.

He added, two children, three women and a man are among the deaths.

Roadside bombs and improvised explosive devices are by far the most lethal weapons Taliban militants use against Afghan forces, foreign troops in Afghanistan which usually sustains causalities to civilians as well.
