Roadside Bomb Kills 7 Children in Ghazni

Seven children killed and two others wounded in Muqur district of Ghazni province on Saturday, a local official said.

Provincial governor spokesman Mohammad Arif Noori told Ariana News that the incident took place this morning while the children were playing in Jamparan village of Muqur district.

Noori blamed Taliban insurgent group for planting the mine in the road.

He said the wounded children were in a stable condition.

Taliban militants who are active in Ghazni province are yet to make comment on the report.
