Abdul Rab Rasoul Sayyaf, a former warlord and a former anti-Soviet mujahidin is said to consider the one-eyed Taliban leader, Muhammad Mullah Omar a slave for Pakistan and an ignorant person among Taliban group.

Sayyaf notes that Taliban must learn from the death of their leader and instead of slavery for foreigners and violence against Afghan people join the peace process.

“The death of Mullah Omar who died two years ago revealed in a critical opportunity that people were waiting for peace. The slaves always die in worst ways,” Sayyaf said.

Mullah Mohammed Omar, the Taliban leader, was declared dead by the Afghan government on last Wednesday, while the Taliban on last Thursday confirmed the death of their one-eyed leader, Mullah Omar.

The former Jihadi Leader also criticized the Taliban group, saying their leadership was against Islam.

Abdul Rab Rasoul Sayyaf urged the National Unity Government to focus on providing security and reforms instead of power-sharing and division of ministries.

“I demand the government to prevent corruption, think about our nation, manage and reforms the country’s system,” Sayyaf noted.

He also strongly condemned Kabul’s truck bomb attack and considered it a terrorist attack.

Abdul Rasul Sayyaf is one of Afghanistan’s more controversial political leaders, with a reputation for excess and brutality throughout many years of conflict against the Soviet occupation and the Taliban
