Security forces to be paid salaries at places of work due to security threats

The Ministry of Finance has announced that due to security threats, New Kabul Bank will pay out salaries of security sector employees at their workplace.
In an announcement posted on X, the ministry said it wants employees “to receive their salaries without any security problem.”
“For this purpose, the Ministry of Finance thought it is better that the salaries of the security staff be paid by the New Kabul Bank branches in their respective departments to prevent any kind of security risk,” according to the announcement.
This comes after a suicide bomber detonated explosives outside a New Kabul Bank branch in Kandahar last month. A number of people were killed and wounded in the blast.
