Senior Taliban Commander Killed in Parwan

A senior commander of the armed Taliban group killed and three other militants injured in a special operation conducted by Afghan police in Parwan province.

The key commander of Taliban identified as Mullah Naeem Kor who was involved in terrorist attacks across the Parwan province.

“Taliban’s key commander, Mullah Naeem Kor known as Umaduddin killed by Afghan National Civil Order Police in Siah Gird district of Parwan province,” said the Ministry of Interior.

In other incident, at least two civilians killed when their motorcycle struck a roadside bomb in Zabul province.

Gul Islam Seyal, spokesman of Zabul governor said, “A roadside bomb hits the Shinkay district, killing two and injuring two other civilians.”

No group claimed responsibility behind the incident so far.
