Students demand closure of University
Kabul University students staged in front of the ministry of higher education’s door, demanding the closure of university.
They complain over food quality, health and lack of facilities to live in the dormitory.
“We cannot eat the food they provide for us. We do not have any facilities in the Ramadan month,” Abdul Samad, one of Kabul university students said.
Nawid, another students said, “Our problems must be addressed as soon as possible, the problems increases with each day passing.”
The students claimed that the money allocated to them is squandered.
Meanwhile, a number of Parliament representatives also confirm shortcoming in the dormitories.
The ministry of Higher Education refused to comment regarding the issue.
