Subsidies to be spent in coordination with Afghan Government: CEO
Abdullah Abdullah, Chief Executive of Afghanistan National Unity Government emphasized for accountability and transparency in one of the biggest funds for Afghan women to be consumed efficiently in order to bring changes in their lives.
He declared that I have stressed the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) during a visit that International aids were spent in vain previously.
In addition, he added that Afghan government will establish an Institute to train Afghan women the leadership and management skills and all subsidies must be spent in coordination with Afghan government.
USAID-Promote is providing $216 million to strengthen Afghanistan development by boosting female participation in the economy, helping women gain business and management skills, supporting women’s rights groups and increasing the number of women in decision making positions within the Afghan government.
