The minister called on media officials, religious scholars and community leaders to counter what he described as misinformation and provide accurate information to the public.
Herat police said no incidents of violence were recorded during the protest and stated that some images circulating online were misleading or digitally altered.
The leader emphasized that implementing Islamic law and properly explaining it to the public are among the key responsibilities of scholars.
