Taliban Commander Kills Wife, Son of an Afghan Soldier in Paktia
Abdullah Husrat, a spokesman for the provincial governor told Arina News that the incident took place late on Friday afternoon at Hasan Khel area in Ahmad Khel district of the province.
According to Husrat, the Taliban commander also known as Qari Aziz had invited the wife and 13-year-old son of, Deadar, an Afghan soldier to his wedding ceremony and murdered both of them after the ceremony was ended.
Deedar had also contributed 30,000 Afghanis to Qari Aziz for his wedding ceremony, Husrat said.
Meanwhile, the Taliban militant group in a statement has rejected its involvement in the incident, claiming that the murder of the two individuals has links with criminal or any personal cases.
