Taliban decide to retake Dand-i- Ghori,Shahabuddin

Afghan security officials in Baghlan Province have stated that Taliban are trying to re take Dand-i- Ghori, Shahabuddin of Baghlan, saying Afghan security forces have established some military bases in two those districts of Baghlan.

After memorandum of understanding has been signed by the Minister of Borders and Tribal and the scholars of the Dand-i- Ghori, both sides were made not to attack each other or to disrupt the security condition in the long run Taliban have broken their commitments, and attacked Afghan security forces, where they were defeated less than 40 days.

Baghlan security Chief Abdul Raheed Basheer said,” Taliban are trying to re take the districts they have lost the control, but we have established our military bases in different parts of the districts to ensure security for the local residents.”

Meanwhile local police commander in Baghlan Amir Gul Hussien said,” we ensure security for the local residents, we respond to any activities which harms our residents in Baghlan.”

Taliban during their stay in Dand-i- Ghori and Dand-i- Shahabuddin they have committed different inhumanity crimes,used local residents properties as their shelters, cut the Kabul power pylons for weeks,and stood for more than 30 days against the Afghan National security forces.
