Taliban captures Dasht-e Archi, another district in Kunduz, local official confirms.
Nasruddin Sadi district governor confirm retreat by Afghan security forces to Khoja Ghar, the neighboring district.
This is the second district overrun by Taliban in three days as Taliban fighters took the control of Chardara district in Kunduz on Sunday.
Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid claims heavy causalities for Afghan security forces while the district governor says only a local police was killed during the clashes.
