Taliban raided over Musa Qala district in Helmand
Musa Qala district will be captured by Taliban insurgents in hours if government fails to deploy ANA commando forces and provide air support, district governor Mohammad Sharif Khan has told to Ariana News.
Taliban militants have raided over the district since Monday night, we have evacuated the district headquarter, and Taliban have captured the district headquarter including district governor’s office, police chief office and health clinic, the local official said.
Insurgents have blocked all routes to the district and if the government fails to deploy commando forces with air support, Taliban will capture the district soon, he added.
According to Mr. Khan 15 Afghan police have injured during the clashes with Taliban who are under treatment in ANA health clinic right now.
Taliban have also experienced high causalities the accurate number is unknown, but clashes still continues.
