Talks Underway To Fix Inauguration Date: Candidates
The joint commission of both candidates to work on creating government of national unity has reached to some agreements on finalizing the date for new President’s inauguration ceremony.
A member of Abdullah Abdullah’s electoral team said Sunday that negotiations inside the commission were going well and have had some progress.
The commission was established last week to work jointly on forming a government of national unity, ending electoral issues and setting date for inauguration of new President.
However, rumors circulated that strong disagreements existed among the members of the commission on different issues of proposed government of national unity.
The members of Abdullah’s team have said everything was normal and no disagreement among the members was witnessed.
But the members of electoral team of Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai have said the commission was working on definition of government of national unity, however, it is not solved yet.
