Time to Compensate Missed Opportunities: Abdullah

Chief executive Abdullah Abdullah who attended the Afghan Women diplomat association opening ceremony said its time to compensate the opportunities which were missed in the past.

Further in his speech he said,” We will not let the Afghan people achievements on gaining women rights and human rights to be destroyed.”

Meanwhile Minister of Foreign Affairs Salahuddin Rabbani insisted over maintaining the Afghanistan commitments for empowering Afghan women in political process.

The first lady of Afghanistan Rula Ghani has also stated that best plat form in political process should be provided for Afghan women to empower the women to stand as men.

Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah said,” There are some groups who are pursuing war, trying to determine the destination of the country and the people by launching war, once again I assure that we will not let the Afghanistan people achievements on women rights and human rights to be destroyed, you all will be in the loop and you will all decide, we will all take the country into prosperity.”

Minister of Foreign Affairs Salahuddin Rabbani said,” One of the commitments of Afghanistan for International community and a principle of Afghanistan foreign policy is to draw deep attention for the human rights specially the women to let them access their basic rights and enable them to take part in political structure of the Government.”

Afghan first lady Rula Ghani also said,” I demand the Afghan female diplomats to raise the capacity and professionalism; it will enable the female diplomats to carry on the duties.”

The Afghan women diplomat association was established by the cooperation of the Human rights department and International Women affairs, the aim of the current association is to mobilize the female experts, who will be further hired in Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan.
