Top Officials Appoint Relatives in Incomes Departments: Fakhri

Director General of of High Office of Anti-Corruption Sayed Ghulam Hussien Fakhri criticized occupying of the Governmental chairs in custom departments, transportation, border ports and some other incoming sources by the relatives of the top Governmental officials.

He said, “Top Governmental, local powerful figures have appointed their relatives in custom departments, transportation, border ports, and some other incoming sources in Afghanistan where it promotes corruption.”

Mr. Fakhri said, “A center should be established within the Government body to review professionally and technically the issue, so that it can save any political sectional ups and downs.”

Meanwhile President special envoy on good Governance Ahmad Zai Masoud also criticized the Government to identify existed gaps.

He said , “ Millions of dollars spent in Afghanistan, but still Afghans are living in traditional way no significant changes made in their life, We should pass the current challenges by identify our poor and power full points and gaps.”

Corruption and reformation of the Governmental departments in Afghanistan has been the main focus of both National and Intentional community, in order to tackle these issues Afghan leaders established several offices to fight corruption in Government departments.
