Torkham crossing closed to travelers after fight breaks out among Pakistanis

Torkham crossing was closed to travelers on Sunday, after fighting broke out among Pakistanis working there, local officials in Nangarhar said.
Sediqullah Quraishi Badlon, head of information of Nangarhar Information and Culture Department, said that the crossing was closed to travelers by Pakistan at 10:00a.m.
He said that commercial goods and emergency patients are allowed to cross through the border.
Meanwhile, Torkham commissioner Hikmatullah said that the crossing was closed due to fighting among Pakistanis.
