Trade on guns, illegal police uniforms common in Afghanistan

Security officials have stated that trades on guns and Afghan security forces’s uniforms are illegal in Afghanistan, decades of war in the war torn country has been a good opportunity for the criminals to use for their benefits.

Intensifying of terrorism activities in main cities of Afghanistan specially Kabul the capital and Parwan have made the residents of both provinces to suffer the most and criminals to use the opportunities for the goods of their own by doing trades on weapons and Afghan security forces uniforms.

Security officials have confirmed that gun trades and purchasing of Afghanistan’s security forces uniforms are common issue in Kabul and some other provinces of Afghanistan.

Ariana News reporter Ali Asghari who has visited Parwan Province, saying anyone could easily access guns and police uniforms from Bazar.

Kabul resident Ahmadullah said,” the Government should adopt necessary and immediate actions to avoid those who are illegally doing business on selling guns and uniforms.”

In order to find more details Ariana News reporter paid visit to nearby Province Parwan district of Bagram where there is Bazar called American Bazar,anyone can easily access guns, and different police gears.

Parwan police chief Mohammad Zaman Mamozai has confirmed the illegal trades on guns and Uniforms, saying I don’t think it’s a threat for the security of Parwan or other places.”

Parwan provincial council head Bahauddin Jelani said,” we demand the central Government to draw attention to this serious issue,we are willing security and safety for our Province.”

“Back to Kabul a number of security officials in have confirmed that guns and police gears are sold as illegally in the capital city of Kabul, and this is our duty to avoid trading guns and police clothing MoI Spokesman Sediq Sediqee said.”

Kabul police chief Gen Abdul Rahman Rahimi said,” Afghan security forces specially National Directorate Security forces have arrested hundreds of those who are making business from illegal things.”

A number of Afghans believed that existence of illegal armed groups will strengthen the insurgents groups once the insecurity ensured within the cities,where no one will be capable to control the situation occurs.
