Two Afghan Women, One Foreign National killed in Kabul Blast: Officials

At least three people including two Afghan civilians and one foreign national were killed in a suicide blast near Hamid Karzai International Airport on Sunday.

Sediq Sediqi, MoI Spokesman confirms the attack saying two Afghan women were martyred, while another 18 civilians including eight women, seven men and three children were injured.

According to preliminary reports a suicide bomber riding a corolla vehicle has targeted European Union Police Mission in Afghanistan (EUPOL) convey in HawaShenasi area of police 9th district which is close to Hamid Karzai International Airport.

EUPOL confirmed that one of their vehicle was involved in today’s attack.

EUPOL Afghanistan reports,” EUPOL can confirm that one person inside the vehicle has been killed”. The mission further confirms that three mission members who were in the vehicle are injured too.

Taliban claimed responsibility behind the attack.
