Two Blasts Hit Farmer’s Day Ceremony in Helmand

Two Blast occurred during a ceremony to mark Farmer’s day in western Helmand province, local officials said on Saturday.
According to the officials, the explosions happened on Saturday morning at the ceremony at a stadium in Lashakrgah city, the provincial capital of the province.
At least three people were killed and 30 others including the Provincial chief of the Information & Cultural Department, two members of the provincial council and a military official were injured in the blasts.
The Taliban in a statement has claimed responsibility for the attack.
