U.S. Secretary of State Tillerson Stresses Defeating ISIS in Cyber Space
During the news briefing, secretary of state Tillerson emphasized on defeating ISIS-Daesh group in cyber space beside defeating them in the battlegrounds.
Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson said, “the new counter-terrorism initiative and the new global center for combating the extremist ideology which will be opened in Riydh. It will be Saudi hub for defeating extremism in the information space. as you heard a saying often we have to defeat ISIS on the battle field but we really have to defeat them in cyber space. this is their recruiting tool.”
Saudi Arabian Foreign Minister Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir at the joint press conference with his American counterpart said pointed out at Iran’s role in destabilizing various countries, particularly Afghanistan.
Arabian Foreign Minister Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir said,”from our prospective we only judge Iran by its actions not by its words. The Iranians in the past have said something and done something else. They provide comfort and support for Al-Qaeda with many of the Al-Qaeda leaders living in Iran now for more than 15 years. they have relationships with Taliban that destabilizes Afghanistan.”
Saudi Arabia was one of the countries that recognized the Taliban regime in its early governance in Afghanistan. This country has been accused of cooperating with terrorist groups in the region, especially in Afghanistan.
