UN Security Council Reviews Afghanistan Condition

The UN Security Council members have reviewed the Afghanistan situation tonight expressing concerns over the increasing of civilian casualties, Narcotic drugs, and calling Taliban into peace table and ensuring of justice.

The UN envoy for Afghanistan declared the current condition full of concerns demanding more efforts for stabilizing of Afghanistan.

Meanwhile Afghanistan special envoy in United Nations Mahmood Saiqal has stated that some of the neighboring countries are supporting insurgency in Afghanistan, asking to stop communication with Taliban.

Special Representative of the UN Secretary General Tadamichi Yamamoto said, “ Thousands of thousands of Afghans being killed in the conflict, and tens of thousands of more were wounded, such human suffering and tragedy is unacceptable.”

“Reach such agreement demonstrates the seriousness of its intent successfully implementation of the agreement should address and the remaining doubts help united Afghans and could pave the way for peace agreements.” The special representative of the UN secretary General Tadamichi Yamamoto said.

New Zeeland is one of the 15 members of the UN security council which insisted over eradication of Narcotic drugs in Afghanistan.

“Taliban are earning $ 400 million annually from production of Narcotic drugs, cutting off the following source will impact over Taliban moral.”

Afghanistan Representative in United Nation Mohmood Saiqal said, “Any communications with Taliban, and with other terrorists without acknowledging the Afghanistan Government will officially recognize Terrorism, it will also break the sovereignty of the Afghan Government which is not acceptable for Afghan Government.”

Holding of the session at UN Security Council comes after that increasing of Taliban activities in different parts of the country has provoked concerns.
